1. Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We currently accept Mastercard, Visa for online purchasing.
 
2. Q: Does MovieSuper online ticketing service offer child/senior/student discount?
A: We do offer child/senior/student discount ticket price for online ticketing system; However, ticket holders may be required to show their valid ID for verification.
 
3. Q: Can I use coupons or discounts (e.g. discounts for MCL Club Members) through online ticketing?
A: All coupons and discount are not accepted through online ticketing. You may use the coupons and discounts at our on-site MCL cinema ticket counters.
 
4. Q: Do I need to pay any service charge for using MCLCINEMA online ticketing service?
A: Starting from 26 July 2005, there will be a service charge of HKD$6.00 per ticket on any purchase through MCLCINEMA online ticketing system.
 
5. Q: Is it safe to use my credit card?
A: We incorporate SSL security within this site, an industry standard technology that is recognised as the best software available today for conducting secure commerce transactions over the internet.
 
6. Q: Can I buy tickets for different films at the same time?
A: No, you may only buy tickets for one session only.
 
7. Q: How many tickets may I order?
A: There is a maximum purchase limit of 10 tickets for any single order. You may place as many orders as you like.
 
8. Q: Can I pick up the ordered tickets for one MCL cinema site at other MCL cinema sites?
A: Customers may only collect the tickets at the MCL cinema site you chose.
 
9. Q: When is my credit card debited?
A: Your credit card is debited once you have successfully completed your online purchase. Adding items to your shopping cart does not result in your credit card being debited, but clicking the [PURCHASE NOW] button from the payment screen does. Once the purchase is completed, no refund will be given.
 
10. Q: What should I do if I booked the wrong tickets after the payment process is completed?
A: You cannot cancel the order or change seats once you press the [PURCHASE NOW] button to complete the ticket purchase order. We therefore advise you to double check the purchasing details before you press the [PURCHASE NOW] button.
 
11. Q: How do I collect my tickets?
A: Your tickets are available for collection from the cinema immediately after you have completed your purchase. In order to collect your tickets at the cinema you MUST bring along the same credit card used to place your order online. Tickets may be collected either at the counter or at the online kiosks available at the cinema.
 
12. Q: Do I require my credit card to collect my tickets?

13. Q: What do film ratings mean?
A: The Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority requires all films for public exhibition to be classified. There are five standard classifications which may sometimes have a cautionary note attached.
  • Category I - Suitable for All Ages.
  • Category IIA - Not Suitable for Children.
  • Category IIB - Not Suitable for Young Persons and Children.
  • Category III - Persons Aged 18 and Above Only.
(Category IIA and IIB are advisory in nature but the age restriction for Category III films is strictly and legally enforced). Please note that proof of age may be required at the Box Office or Ticket Collection Point to purchase or pick up pre-booked tickets, and also to enter the cinema. It is recommended that a Hong Kong Identity Card or photo ID which displays the date of birth is used as proof of age.
 
14. Q: Can I refund the tickets when the No.8 Typhoon Signal or above or the Black Rainstorm Warning is issued?
A: You may bring along your tickets to the same cinema within 7 days from the ticket date to watch the same movie. (In case the movie is no longer showing, you may bring along your tickets to the same cinema within 7 days from the ticket date to watch another movie.) This arrangement is not capable to bulk purchase of company or group ticket.
 
15. Q: What is your refunds policy?
A: Once the transaction is completed successfully, your credit card account will be charged. No refund is accepted.

17. Q: What is the definition of Child Ticket and Senior Ticket?
A: For those who are aged between 3 and 11 years old or over 1 metre high, they need to purchase Child Ticket. Senior Ticket is for aged 65 or above only.
